JL Tennis Academy Booking Terms and Conditions
Online Booking - Terms and Conditions
By using this website to book coaching sessions you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Players will receive tuition in small groups, efforts being made to keep the ratio in each group to a maximum of 6 students to 1 coach.
2. All coaches will be working as a team on the same syllabus, as laid down by Jason Liasides.
3. The JL Tennis Academy is an outdoor program and is therefore subject to all weather conditions.
4. In the event of severe weather affecting the outdoor facilities, including the tennis court surface, coaching equipment and surrounding areas then junior coaching groups may be cancelled. Due to the nature of the programme JL Tennis Academy does not take responsibility for adverse weather conditions that make tennis unsuitable for play and therefore cannot be held accountable for refunds of missed lessons.
JL Tennis Academy will aim to provide make up sessions for specific classes repeatedly affected by adverse weather conditions. This “make up” week will be offered at the end of term based on a schedule set out by the academy.
1. No refunds will be issued due to adverse weather conditions
2. Lessons missed for any personal reasons cannot be refunded, made up or transferred
3. The fee for the term is payable in advance and this all-inclusive fee covers all charges.
4. Once payment and confirmation for a class has been received, the academy reserves the right to move players to alternative classes due to other extra-curricular or personal circumstances. Changing classes during term is only possible if spaces in adjacent classes are available.
Priority Bookings
How does the Priority List work?
People go on the priority list for bookings if their child has attended after-school groups during the last term. This allows them a period of booking before we open up bookings to our other clients.
We notify all priority clients in advance by email of the date and time that the bookings will be open from. It is then the client's responsibility to ensure that they make bookings during the priority period, and we cannot guarantee spaces if not.
The priority list is divided into 2 groups.
1. Priority Group 1 –
These are existing priority clients who are willing to commit to the full year (September - July). Ideally, your first choice of space should be the same day and time that your child was attending for the previous term, and if there are too many requests for a session, priority will be given to those already attending that session. However, if when making the yearly booking, your child needs to move up a group or to change day, we will work together to find a suitable space.
Once the yearly booking has been made we cannot guarantee to accommodate any requests for changes during the year, but we will try.
Payment for the year is non-refundable but we will take into account exceptional circumstances.
2. Priority group 2 –
The remainder of the priority list i.e. those who choose not to commit to a full year of lessons, are in this group. You will still get priority if your child attended during the last term, but can only re-book for the slot that your child had previously held.
You cannot book for a different day/time - if you do, the booking may not be honoured and your child may lose their space entirely. If your child needs to change age group from one term to another, and if spaces are available, we will work together to try to find a suitable place.
People on the priority list are still able to book for other children as long as the children are also part of the priority list. If you do book children who are not on the priority list, they will lose their place if priority juniors need the space.
Priority Booking Timetable
· During June ~ Priority juniors have the opportunity to book on a yearly basis in advance.
· Early July ~ Priority 1 juniors will receive confirmation of their spaces for the year and details for payment.
· Last Sunday in August ~ Deadline for yearly payments to be made.
· Early September ~ Remaining spaces are made available online to Priority 2 juniors to book on a term-by-term basis.
· Early-mid September ~ Any remaining spaces are made available to those on the general mailing list to book on a yearly basis.
· Any remaining spaces are then made available online to the general mailing list to book on a term-by-term basis.
